DOVE BUGT
The Dove Bugt region between 75°45' and 77°00' north in the large national park on Greenland's north-east coast is a uniquely beautiful archipelago area. An area that is adorned with countless islands and skerries. Big and small. Most nameless. All surrounded by a tangle of sounds and fiords, where myriads of icebergs of all imaginable sizes and shapes – driven by sea currents and winds - are imperceptibly carried to the place where they finally become one with the sea.
The book has been titled "Dove Bugt", as it is this large bay that forms the central part of an area that stretches from the Haystack mountain in the south to Germania Land in the north and from the Ice Sheet in the west to Store Koldewey island in the east. An area that measures around 150 km x 100 km - or a total of more than 15,000 km2. It's the sixth book in the series "Discovering North-East Greenland”.
Also available in a serial numbered and signed variant - but only in limited numbers !
