Xsirius is a private company specializing in knowledge and books about North-East Greenland.
Founded in 2008, Xsirius is owned by Peter Schmidt Mikkelsen, who has almost 50 years of in-depth knowledge of North-East Greenland, partly from his service at the Danish military dogsledge patrol "Sirius", and from his later numerous travels and expeditions in the North-East Greenland. Peter is co-founder and since 1999 director of the North-East Greenland Company "Nanok". Today he is also affiliated with leading Arctic research centers and initiatives, among others, the Arctic Research Center (ARC) at Aarhus University, the Arctic Science Partnership (ASP), and the Isaaffik collaboration.
Xsirius is also the home of Nanok's website.
Xsirius Books is an internet publisher and webshop that publishes and sells books particularly about North-East Greenland.
